About this study
Three independently generated gestures play on thin sheets of painted paper. Their silhouettes and cut edges change with each video frame, casting moving shadows onto the landscape and neighboring layers. Each woman follows her own repeating rhythm.
Each cutout stays attached to the background at its base and lifts toward the top. Paper lift opens the sheets while their bottoms remain connected.
The still landscape and distant objects retain textures from the 5,354 × 4,006 painting. Moving figures use generated video detail. A slight drift in the clouds, a swaying tree line, and slowly changing light suggest a breeze. Pause holds the entire scene; Breeze controls the background movement.
The field behind the lifted objects and the hidden portion of the left woman are completed with image generation. Small distant groups remain together where the brushwork leaves their boundaries ambiguous. These are visible paper silhouettes.
